Over the course of the festival, there are kiddies events with Disney characters, magicians, puppets and face painting. Local artists display their works in Trim library and local historians provide walks to St. Patrick's Well discussing the rich history and heritage associated with the town.

Public houses have traditional Irish music throughout the festival where ceilí dancing competitions are held. On the eve of St. Patrick's Day, well-known traditional ballad band, Tara Shamrock will play and on the day itself, a 'Daft-Raft Race' is held on the nearby River Boyne, where local organisations participate in fancy dress with handmade boats and race to the finishing line to raise money for local charities.
