    Set on over 220 acres of lush green Meath countryside, promises to be a fun-filled festival for the entire family to enjoy.

    Combining world class eventing (the ultimate test in horsemanship) with the bustle of a shopping village and country fair, Tatts will be the place to be over the course of five exciting days.

    With over 80 market stands spread out over 2.5 acres, locally produced food, picnic areas and old fashioned carnival stands, the entire family will get to see world class show-jumping up close and personal, while enjoying all the fun of the fair. Dogs are welcome and can take part in the novelty dog show.

    Blue Jean Country Queen Festival, Athboy, 31st of May - 3rd June 2019

  • The Blue Jean Country Queen Festival has been running in Athboy for 25 years. Each year the Queens gather from all over Ireland and even further afield to celebrate what has become a much loved tradition here in County Meath. With free children's entertainment, three nights of live music and our attempt to break a World Record, there are endless ways for visitors and supporters to join in the fun.

    Kells Road Races-June 2019

    North Meath Road Races Ltd, promoting Kells Road Races

    Kells Road Races have been running since 1994 on the popular Crossakiel circuit which is also famous for its high speed jumps. Crossakiel is a small village just minutes outside Kells which is one of the most historic and picturesque towns in the Boyne Valley.

    Bellewstown Races

  • Horse racing at Bellewstown Racecourse, on the Hill of Crockafotha in Co. Meath, is beautifully situated with magnificent views of the Mountains of Mourne to the north and the Irish Sea to the east.

    The tradition of summer racing at Bellewstown dates back centuries and the first record of racing here appears in the August edition of the Dublin Gazette and the Weekly Courier in 1726.

    This superb one mile and one furlong left handed course, in a truly unique location, features both flat and hurdle racing. Bellewstown Races are synonymous with top class racing, wonderful summer evenings, family entertainment and ladies day races which add to the fun.

  • Athboy and Ráth Chairn are to host next year’s Leinster Fleadh which takes place from 8th to 16th July, with the festival expected to attract up to 30,000 visitors to the area.

    Our 2019 Boyne Adventure Race is part of our 2019 Trim Salmon of Knowledge Festival , and this year takes place on Saturday, giving you more time to enjoy the weekend and explore Trim and the Boyne Valley.
